Highlight of the Day: Surprise Film
Every year we screen a SURPRISE FILM and every year it sells out. Are our Fesival-goers mad? Perhaps. But with past surprise films including PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, BURN AFTER READING and A COCK AND BULL STORY, it’s easy to see why people get excited about this special Festival treat.
The only way to find out what that film will be is to buy a ticket and come along!
Other Highlights
- The closing film of the 2009 Cambridge Film Festival is sure to be a highlight. As soon as we confirm the film we’ll post information about it here. Watch this space!
- RAIN OF CHILDREN, Vincent Ward’s fascinating documentary screens today and will be followed by an online Q&A session via Skype with Ward.
- Our German Cinema Today season ends with the gripping film MOGADISHU WELCOME, which tells the story of the victims and survivors of the hijacking of Lufthansa flight 188 in October 1977. If you liked THE BAADER MEINHOFF COMPLEX, you should definitely take a look at this.
